Information regarding the handling of Mutaflor products:
- Mutaflor should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature ranging between 2 and 8 degrees celsius
- A short break from refrigeration at room temperature up to 72 hours (or 3 days) will not harm the product
- Mutaflor is formulated with an 'overage'. This is to ensure safe shipment can occur without drastic reduction in active colony forming units (CFU).
- While heat may reduce the active CFU it will not change the structure of the product and therefore will not cause harm.
Natural Chemist special shipping arrangements for Mutaflor products:
- Mutaflor orders are shipped on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday only, to avoid any weekend delays.
- Insulated packaging and ice packs are used, but this does not mean the product will necessarily remain cold for the duration of the trip. Their purpose is to extend the time away from the fridge that Mutaflor can endure.
- Natural Chemist do not accept returns or refunds if there are any issues with the delivery or product efficiency due to delayed shipping.
- Prior to ordering, you will need to confirm you are willing to accept responsibility for the product once it is despatched from Natural Chemist store.
About the product:
- The capsules are enteric coated, reddish brown in colour and cannot be pulled apart. This colouring is part of the enteric coating and ensures that the capsule will not degrade and open until the start of the large intestine is reached. The capsule contents are a beige powder.
- For the relief and management of chronic constipation.
- Increases the number of bowel movements per day and the number of days on which bowel movements occur in patients with chronic constipation.
- First 2 days: 2 capsules 3 times daily
- Day 3 onwards: 4 capsules daily
