Withania is considered as a primary strengthening tonic to help with the treatment of inflammatory conditions.
May be useful for but not limited to:
- Immune enhancer, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant
- Strengthens the nervous system
- Memory enhancer
- A sedative to help with restful sleep
- Anti-viral, antibiotic
1 teaspoon of dried herb to 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 5-10 mins. Alternatively, steep in warmed milk and sweeten with honey or sugar.

Withania should not be taken during pregnancy.
Should not be used in conjunction with sedative drugs.
