Cautions:Use in children under 12 years is not recommended. Drink plenty of water. Prolonged use may cause serious bowel problems. Donot use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea, are pregnant or breastfeeding, aretaking medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, have acute stomach irritation, inflammation,stomach or duodenal ulcers, hypokalaemia, high blood pressure, kidney or cardiovascular disorder, abnormal constrictions of thegastrointestinal tract, potential/existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease, undiagnosedrectal bleeding, or severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if youhave faecal impaction, fever, liver disorder, gallstones, anaemia, or if you are taking cardiac or anti-arrhythmic medications. Ifsymptoms persist consult your health care practitioner.Consumption of actual licorice root during pregnancy may harm a child's developing brain. Stimulant laxatives should be avoidedin pregnancy.
